Communicating Gratitude

We all appreciate it when someone does something nice for us.  We are grateful to our customers and clients for doing business with us, our employees for working to make our business a success, and our partners and alliances when they help us build our businesses by sending us referrals and sharing information.

How often do you take the time to express that gratitude? 

Sure, most of us say “thank you” every day, but think about the impact of taking that next step.  It only takes a few minutes for you to write a thank you note, send a card or even send a token of your appreciation to a client, employee, friend, or business associate. 

What did it mean to you when someone took the time to do that for you?

How much loyalty would you have to a business who took the time to send you a thank you?

This week, try to find some small ways to tell your customers how much you appreciate their business.  Let people know how much you appreciate their referrals.  Thank your employees for all their hard work.
